We found this unusual piece at a consignment store in Pomona, California.  Initially, we were drawn to the bright colors and captivating moire effect of the silk screen overlay, but as we looked deeper, we realized that the bars and circles were axels of Indy cars.  We have not been able to identify the artist, although the piece is signed lower left and noted as ‘Indy Cross’ on the back.  The frame appears to be original and has some slight nicks, but we feel that adds to the character of the work.  Another Too curious find by TooGays that is looking for the right home.
