We believe this piece to be painted in the 1950's or 60's by abstract artist James A. Coughlin (1926-1979).  Signed lower right.  Coughlin studied at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Tyler School of Fine Arts.  His work has been exhibited in museums and art festivals across the country.  When we found this piece, it was in an old haggered frame that took away from its contemporary look.  We had it custom re-framed in a silver burnished wood which really brought the work to life. 

Definitely one of our Fantastic Finds that is sure to only go up in value.
